Mapleton families: interested in contemporary dance for your child? At Petit Ballet Academy, we invite young dancers from Mapleton to explore creativity and expression in our nearby Spanish Fork studio.

Many of our contemporary students attend Maple Ridge Elementary, Hobble Creek Elementary, and Mapleton Elementary. Our classes are designed to help Mapleton dancers blend technique with storytelling, movement, and musicality.

What kind of a Dance Studio are we?

Caring Teachers

Our teachers are experienced and strive to help each student feel welcome to each dance class. Using patience, kindness, creativity and perseverance, children learn the proper techniques in a way that will foster a love for dance.

Comfortable Environment

We've upgraded our studio to allow our students more room to dance! Parents can watch their children through a window that allows students to dance with fewer distractions. We're non-competitive, so children can come and dance in a low-stress environment.

Every child deserves to feel successful and confident. Our classes are designed to build self-esteem through achievement, creativity, and positive reinforcement in a supportive dance community.

CEO & Dance Director

Marybeth Wilde

“A True Dancer is respectful, prepared, enthusiastic, confident, humble, creative, authentic, and giving.”

Marybeth has always had the dream of owning her own dance studio and 7 years ago, with the help of her husband, Andy, that dream became a reality. She has a passion for reaching out and helping people. Although she is trained as a Registered Nurse, she has taken a break from that to focus on her family and her students. Marybeth has 4 beautiful daughters and an extremely amazing husband who are helping her daily to become a better person. She has danced for over 30 years and taught for over 20. In high school she was a member of Ballet Utah as a soloist. During college she was also a soloist in the Upper Valley Civic Ballet Company in Rexburg, Idaho. She has performed in many roles over the years including Clara from the Nutcracker, Princess Florine from Sleeping Beauty, The Dove from Hansel and Grettle, and the Autumn Fairy from Cinderella. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, Irish, folk, and modern dancing. Marybeth loves to be outdoors, especially hiking in the mountains and beautiful landscapes of Utah! Andy and Marybeth also have a boardgame collection of over 300 games! She and her family live in Payson, Utah.
